This year, we were excited to introduce a new set of awards to recognize the outstanding contributions our members are making in the field of Human Brain Mapping. We are proud to announce the recipients of this year’s awards. Congratulations to all!



Early Career Researcher Awards:


Dr. Margaret Moore

Dr. Margaret Moore

Research Fellow, Queensland Brain Institute, University of Queensland

Dr. Moore’s current research combines methods from neuroscience and stroke neuropsychology to investigate the neural basis of both normal and abnormal human visuospatial perception.

Dr. Devon Stoliker

Dr. Devon Stoliker

Postdoctoral Researcher, Turner Institute for Brain and Mental Health, Monash University

Dr. Stoliker has initiated and led Australia’s first psychedelic neuroimaging trial, which includes the largest sample size in psychedelic research to date.

Emerging Leadership Award:


Dr. Kerstin Pannek

Dr. Kerstin Pannek

Senior Research Scientist, Australian E-Health Research Centre, CSIRO

Dr. Pannek’s research program has made significant advances in neonatal and pediatric brain MRI by improving data quality and enhancing our understanding of normal and abnormal brain development.
