This year, we were excited to introduce a new set of awards to recognize the outstanding contributions our members are making in the field of Human Brain Mapping. We are proud to announce the recipients of this year’s awards. Congratulations to all!

Early Career Researcher Award:

Dr. Yuanzhe Liu

Associate Research Fellow, Department of Psychiatry, The University of Melbourne

Dr. Liu’s research focuses on computational models of brain connectivity, using generative frameworks and large-scale neuroimaging data to understand how structural networks emerge and how they shape individual patterns of functional brain activity.

Emerging Leadership Award:

Dr. Ye Ella Tian

NHMRC Research Fellow, Department of Psychiatry, The University of Melbourne

Dr. Tian’s research integrates psychiatry, systems neuroscience, and multi-organ imaging to unravel how brain–body interactions shape health and neuropsychiatric disease across the lifespan, with the broader goal of informing holistic mental–physical care and healthy ageing.’
